Default Caips

Dear All, if I get hold of my CAIPS file, can I figure out whether I'll be required to attend an interview or not even though Buffalo has waived my interview? I just got my medicals done 6 months after initial assessment and interview waiver. What does CAIPS have?

Thanks.

i too applied for my caips notes this week after completing my medicals last week , hopefully it would give me a status of whether background checks are over yet and the number of points alloted to me.
hopefully these 2 factors are enuff to determine the timeline here-onwards.

If your interview was waived then it is waived and would only happen if
something turned up in the background or criminal checks. Unless there is
an obvious problem it is useless to get the CAIPS printout.

Thank you very much Jim and yr2000.

Jim, I still haven't given my present employer letter but have submitted job offer letter, pay-stubs, W2 etc. But since my interview is waived and there has been no intimation from CIC for the last 6+ months after interview waiver, is it safe to assume that now they'll not drag me into an interivew only to confirm my employment? I work for such a huge and old company that even my grandma knows its name and what it does - so credibility/authenticty isn't an issue.

Thanks again.
