Default Bunac Question

Hi guys,

i am filling in my bunac app this morn and there is a section where it says "have you or any member of your family been arrested, charged etc in any country" Well I myself havn't but I think my estranged brother did when i was about 13...I am unable to find out. I obviously dont want to say no incase it is true and then the Comission to think I was lying. Can anyone give me any snippets of advice?

Thanks in advance
Kym

I just looked at mine and now see the bit you mentioned, and then realised that I spelt accompanying in a stupid way too, haha. It's the same part that asks about applying for there before, I haven't, but my sister has a PR so I guess I have to put her down, but I will probably phone BUNAC to check.

Just write "NO". There is no way they can know this unless you was arrested with them and then it would not matter because you was the one with the charge. You are not travelling to Canada with your brother and it is you who is applying and not your brother. Unless he was arrested for terrorism charges it is none of their business. My sister has been aressted a few times but I have not. Visa taken care off. No issues. Good luck.
