Look at the Initial Assessment queue time, it decreased linearly from 13->10 recently. It's really getting faster and faster.

Also, now is no AOR queue time anymore, they can process AOR within same month.

It is indeed getting faster. However, I dont understand why some applicants who applied before the current processing time have still not recieve their assessment. Any comment?

The system is not perfect. Some cases that are more complicated require more time to process. Don't assume that the timelines posted on the website are 100% accurate for all cases.

The only cause of delay after medicals and other docs submitted is the background check, which can take anywhere from 2-18 months from the time of interview waiver or interview.

otherwise how long it takes (approximately) after all the docs are sent, medicals done, interview waived?

that is, 1. is background check always initiated after all the final docs are submitted or, is it after the interview/waiver?

i sent my updated docs, fbi report etc. by feb. 10th. if the background check is not the issue, when can i expect the pp request, the earliest?
thanks much, prodigy

If you don't have background check, it may take another 3-6 months.

that doesnt make any sense to me....

if it takes 3-6 months if there is no background check, how can it take 2 months or more if background check is initiated.

in my opinion, background check should take more time than no background check...
can anyone answer my question clearly please???... ( i know my question sounds rather complicated this string.) please look at my initial question and then answer. thanks.
