Default Buffalo medical and RPRF request - mail RPRF?

Hi everyone,

My husband and I received our IA (interview waived) and medical and RPRF requests dated July 17, 2007. We sent the application on November 20, 2006 and had AOR dated December 17, 2006. This forum has been a great help for us so far, and we would like to thank you all. For those of you thinking of applying to Buffalo: here is how we prepared our application, in case it might be of help to you and your timelines. We did the application ourselves, and we made sure it was very neat and thorough; we were very careful with both information and presentation. We divided the application by sections from the Buffalo checklist, every section receiving its own plastic pocket where the documents pertaining to it were arranged. We had a cover letter for every section/pocket as well, attached to the front of everything else, where we summarized the section and explained what we thought needed explaining, e.g. home country high school education system. We also listed how many points we claimed for every section in the corresponding section's cover letter. For sections where we had no informationto submit, we still included a cover letter, explicitly saying that we have nothing to submit. In the end, we bound the plastic pockets together with plastic ties, creating something very similar to a book. We submitted all police certificates, as well as IELTS together with the application.

Question:

We have scheduled our medical, but we have a question about submitting the RPRF. After we get a certified cheque or cashier's check from the bank, do we mail it to Buffalo, where our application was submitted or do we have to mail it somewhere in Canada? What exact information needs to be included in the check, e.g. names, file number?

Thanks in advance!

You mail it to Buffalo. I would use registered mail to be certain it arrives and you can prove it.
