Yeah. Pls let me know.
I got an ECA from ICES and they evaluated BTEC level 3 as Grade 12 high school completion.
Thanks.

Just been thinking about this. Did you do GCSE and A-levels and then your BTEC or did you do GSCE and then the BTEC? If the latter it could explain why a 2 year BTEC is considered grade 12 I.e. Formal education to age 18. Just a thought

ICES doesn't require any other documents. They ask documents for the qualification for which an ECA is required.

In the report they mentioned the admission requirement in which they stated that gcse is required.
I have emailed them a request to revisit the application and amend the report to post secondary diploma or to college diploma atleast in order to qualify for express entry stream.

Re: BTEC Level 3 Subsidiary Diploma - ECA Equivalent
I got evaluated today as the following:
"Completion of a college-level certificate (one semester)"
No idea if that scores me any points or not, it 'fits' the wordage used on CIC's website as "One-year degree, diploma or certificate from a program at a university, college, trade or technical school, or other institute"
(source https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration...ad-report.html)
But it also says "one semester" so that kind of goes against the whole "one year" thing.
There doesn't seem to be much discussion I can find about people getting this exact result from WES, does anyone know if this is worth points?
