Default Bringing Car from U.S.

Hello to all,

I received my Approval in Principle a couple of months ago under In land Spousal Sponsorship. At this moment, my car in California is just parked there at a friend's place and I am seriously thinking of having it shipped here. in Vancouver. The car is fully paid and is now under my name. Is this a good move? Shall I wait till I get my PR? What are the consequences if I have it shipped now?

I will be very thankful for any input about this from anybody. Mr. Miller?

Thank you.

Respectfuly,
agra

Wait until you have your PR so, it can be included in your goods to follow, so you don't have to pay taxes and duty. Ensure that is importable, check www.riv.ca Don't forget you will have to go to a dealer in the US to ensure that all recalls have been complied with and get a copy of it. Also you have to fax the proof of owner ship 72 before to the US customs port where you intend to export the car.
