Default Biometrics

Sorry for all the questions 😐
we have all the paperwork ready for sending off for PR we are just having our photographs done at the weekend to include, we have paid for the biometrics and for the full application.
Last night we put in the online application for TWP my husband had to pay again for the biometrics and received the letter this morning to go and get them done, can I go get mine done at the same time ready for when they request it for our PR application?

also once his TWP is issued I am of the understanding due to covid restrictions he can travel out there but me and my daughters can’t until we have an exemption letter, is this correct? Would we be able to gain the exemption letter and then all travel together?
we are hoping to go jan/feb but I’m unsure if that’s wishful thinking 😃

Thanks for that, it’s crap but totally understandable hopefully it might change at some point 🤞🏼
do you know about the biometrics, can I get mine done at the same time as my husband? He has received the letter to make an appointment via his TWP, I didn’t know if I can get mine done with him ready for the PR application, save us both doing it separately.

Your husband may need his biometrics taken for his TWP, it doesn't look like visitors are required to have them at the moment and PR applicants normally have to wait until they get a request - i.e. a biometrics instruction letter (BIL). So no, you may not be able to get it done at the same time.. you will probably need to wait until you get a BIL and have made an appointment - or have it done when you are in Canada
