If this application is through the old system (rather than Express entry) then I believe the usual time frame is approximately 4 months after submission to receive an AOR. Did you use a courier so you can at least be sure it was delivered?
I have no idea what the timeframe is for PNP express entry, if that is what route you have gone then hopefully someone else will be able to assist.

Did they apply under EE by any chance?

You are aware that under the old PNP system, it's taking many months to receive the nomination

Ok, well I'm just going by the time myself and many others have waited for AOR's. Can't comment on your friends timelines.
Check out the PNP applicants thread in this section where there are numerous discussions about this.

They're unusual then, 4 months is about the norm. Check out the various threads for more info on timelines.

And don't panic yet!

HTH.

Hello guys thanks a lot for your replies... First i am sure that my file is not under EE it is normal PNP... Second i am talking about AOR ( Acknowledgement Of Reciept) m not asking about the whole PNP process I am aware of whole process takes 13 months now.... Third I know some people they applied after me like I have applied on 16th February and they applied in the end of February (on 27 or 28) and they got AOR few days ago ... Then my question is that why not me ??? According to BC PNP website it may take upto maximum 6 weeks but I am in 7th week now....

I'm confused. Have you applied for your nomination, or for PR?

You're talking about credit cards and AOR, so I'd assumed you were asking about your PR app, but now you've mentioned the nomination timescale! The 4 months memtioned above if for AOR for a PR app, but I think we're talking at cross purposes.

Can you clarify exactly what you've applied for?

So just for the nomination? That's the confusion, we all thought you'd applied for PR!

In which case, yes you should be receiving confirmation of your app being received any time now. If it's not even been 6 weeks get though, there's no point in contacting them - the website does say not to until at least 6 weeks have passed, so I'd give it another week and then contact them if you still haven't heard.

HTH, good luck.

I would get the idea of 13 months out of your head unless you want to be let down.

I have been waiting over 10 months so far and have not even had a request for my medical as yet

you're confusing things too - he's waiting for his nomination, not PR! If you're waiting for med requests then you've done a PR app, so completely different timescales. The PR takes a lot longer than 13 months normally so you won't be near med requests yet.

BC PNP acknowledgement for me was 4 weeks. 5 Months to get the Nomination itself (it's longer than that now I believe), posted application for PR, it is 4 months since they received it and no AOR for that, and something like 17 months for that to process and get PR.

Youre looking at over 2 years to get your PR, assuming the timelines dont change, you do everything without delay and you submit complete applications.

Good luck!

Thanks a lot for reply and advice...if u have approved PNP why didn't u apply under EE u can easily get into the pool and qualify bcz last draw lowest score was 481 and I heard that in next draw this score going lower than that it gonna b near to 380 so u can try in EE... I am gonna apply PR under EE after PNP approval I hope that will b bit faster than normal process... Good Luck to everyone ☺️☺️😊😊
