Default BC PNP and LMO question

Hello everyone

I have a question on the requirements for the PNP program and the 'LMO'? On the application form it says LMO (if applicable). I emailed PNP to ask if My employer needs a positive LMO before submitting the application and at first they said 'No but if your job already requires an LMO then we need to see this as part of your application'

How do we know if our job requires an LMO? My employer has never applied for one before. I'm currently here on working holiday visa.

Anyone who could clarify this would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

My understanding is that you only need to provide an LMO if it's required for your current job/visa. If you're on a working holiday visa then it doesn't apply to you.

Thanks for the response.

Do you know or anyone else who has been through the process know if LMO is required at any stage? Even after receiving a PNP nomination? Do CIC require LMO or does a PNP nomination override the necessity for LMO when proceeding with the PR application?

Thanks

Once you have BC PNP nomination approval, you will normally be issued a letter of support (you may have to request it). You take that to the border and get a TWP on the basis of your Nomination Approval. You don't need an LMO.
