Default Basic forms to complete for Skilled Worker

Ok just checking this is correct and we filling in the correct forms.

Married couple Both Uk born nationals filing from Uk

I am skilled worker principal applicant.

so

filling in

I: 1 * [ Form IMM 0008 GENERIC - APPLICATION ] - by me

II: 2* [ Form IMM 0008 SCHEDULE 1 - Background] - one by me and one by wife

III: 1 * [ Form IMM 0008 Schedule 3 - Econ Classes] - by me

IV: 2* [ Form IMM5406 - additional family info] - one by me and one by wife

These Addtional Family forms are .....

- one by me but importantly showing me as applicant and showing wife detials as spouse in section A then completing detailing my bro and sister details

- one by wife but importanlty showing her as spouse ( not applicant) and me as applicanrt in section A then completing detailing her bro and sister details, ect..

Then include also

- Document checklist + 4photos of each person in 2 labeled envelope , passport copies , addressed mailing labels.

-Optional letter attachments detailing english proficiency and work experiance date clarifications if a bit vague here and there from 10 yrs ago.

Pretty clear I hope but read someone sent 2 IMM 0008 Geneic applications in one for him one for wife .

The way i understand it is that spouse piggybacks the main applicant ( not a pretty image of course!).

Hope this is correct any comment welcome tks for ace forum has sorted many a query on the search function.

tks

Forms seem ok. However, you must send these to Sydney Nova Scotia if you are just starting the process. If this is the case then DO NOT send photos at this stage. CIC Sydney will - if all ok send you a 120 day letter to submit into London.

You also have to send a copy of your passport bio page off to Sydney along with the payment.

Nothing else apart form the 4 forms.

When I submitted my Form IMM5406's for my wife and son so I put their names in the 'Applicant' box in Section A - whether this is right or not I don't know? I made this assumption because Section A doesn't have anywhere else for my son to put his name. For the purpose of providing additional information I guessed each individual as being an applicant (although I am still the main applicant)?

If you read the checklist (Section 11) it says you don't need to send photos with your initial application.

I'm just about to send of the same forms, filled out IMM5406 with me as the applicant and then another for my wife as the applicant and me as the spouse. Can anyone clear this matter up as i don't want to sen off the wrong thing.

Again as you sai on the checklist it states 'Additional documents and photos are not required at this time" Does this mean you don't need to put them on the IMM0008 form?

Any help is appreciated.

Regards,

Gav.

1. That is correct.
2. No photos, assuming you are applying to CIO Sydney under FSW, then read the checklist http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kit...s/IMM5612E.PDF

Sorry to labour the point on the ambiguous IMM 0008 SCHEDULE 1 - Background form.

There are 3 adults (over 18) in my family - me, my wife and my son.

This is how I filled in the forms, can you give me the thumbs up please

does anyone know if this is required if you were born and raised in UK? if so, what would you need to include? a brief declaration that you were born/raised in the UK and have always spoken/read English?

i'm also about to send my pack off and just noticed this!

I just included a quick note as an attachment that i am claiming maximum points for English as this is my first language. I have noted that I was brought up, educated and conduct my all my daily business affairs in English.

This was after reading similiar posts on this forum. There may be some who are English but it is not their main language, so i guessed we needed to put it in to make it clear.

Of course later when you send your education history and qualifications it will be clear as well.

I did exactly the same. We are in the republic of Ireland and we communicate, work and socialise through english. I detailed this on the latter along with school results, payslips etc which are all in english. It might be stating the obvious but it was easy enough to write a short note to explain why we didn't need to complete the IELTS.
