Default background check problem

hi all
i applied for PR skilled worker in sep 2002 germany . im worried about some things i did in the past. when i was in college USA from 1992-1997 i had a series of traffic violations which include numerous speeding tickets, crossing red lights, driving with a suspended licence(but never DUI). it reached a point where they had a warrent for my arrest. Then i had a couple of court dates that i had to attend but didnt because i had to leave the country.
would all these violations be detected during a background check and if they do what consequences would it have on me recieving a PR visa.
thanks

Driving while suspended is a Criminal Code offence in Canada and could cause
you to be found inadmissible to Canada eventhough you were not convicted and
it may only be a highway traffic offence in the jurisdiction where you
lived in the USA. There is probably a warrant for your arrest somewhere in
the system and you may considered a fugative from justice. This should show
up an FBI clearance request.

Skofflaws are usually not welcomed in Canada. My advice wourl be to contact
a lawyer in the jurisdiction ans see what can be done.

OK does it make sence to first ask for an FBI background check my self to see what they have on me. then act accordingly.
and does it make sence to say that if i have an FBI clearance most likley i will be cleared by CIC. Its such a long time ago i dont exactly remember what i did.
IF my FBI clearance is not cleared is it too late to write to CIC admit my conviction(actaully its more like remebered my conviction) and ask for some kind of prosidure or something.what do you sugest.

You might want to review the answers to the question on your application as
the question also refers to charges not only convictions. You have to tell
the truth. I suggest you clean up the mess as it may come back to haunt you.
Ask for a copy of your drivers record from the state in which you lived,
don't tell me you cannot remember which state you lived in, surf the net for
the info.

I think i will with draw my application. dont you think, its not worth getting cought things will be wors. by the way what will happen if the CIC finds out about my misdemeanor other than the obvious rejection.
