B.C PNP
Hi,
Just been looking at ways in which to get my 22 year old step-son to Canada, if we ever get there ourselves that is. He has been working in kitchens since leaving school, but holds no formal qualification. His job falls within NOC Level D. British Columbia offers to sponsor people on a Provincial Nominee Program for people within his industry. If my step-son was to come over on an International Experience Canada and found an employer willing to back him, could emigrating be within his grasp? |
Re: B.C PNP
From the BC PNP website
for the Northeast Development Region of B.C., you may apply in any occupation listed as skill level C or D in the National Occupational Classification (NOC) Matrix https://www.welcomebc.ca/Immigrate-t...d-Semi-Skilled So yes if on the IEC and BC PNP don't change the rules then a pathway to PR status is possible. Northeast contains 2 regional districts with a total of 8 municipalities and 9 First Nations. Northern Rockies Northern Rockies Peace River Chetwynd Dawson Creek Fort St. John Hudson's Hope Pouce Coupe Taylor Tumbler Ridge First Nation Bands Blueberry River First Nations Doig River First Nation Fort Nelson First Nation Halfway River First Nation Kwadacha Nation Prophet River First Nation Saulteau First Nations Tsay Keh Dene First Nation West Moberly First Nations |
Re: B.C PNP
I'm assuming his NOC code is 6711?
If so, then yes if he's eligible, the job is eligible and the employer is eligible too. Good luck to him. |
Re: B.C PNP
But it has to be in a Northeast Development Region?
