Awaiting PR STATUS
Hi Guys,
Im new to the forum and have found the info on here amazing and it’s great of folks to be so friendly and step in and help each other <snip>
Thanks in advance to those that have helped me already without even knowing it � ����
just wondering for those whose initial 6 month window from CIC has expired what their waiting time was for final PR asnwer?
we have completed medical /biometrics etc and just waiting for the final go go go....� ����� ����� ����� ����

Our 6 months was up on April 16th, we are still waiting. Biometrics and medical completed in Oct/Nov. No change with our status on our application since then. We did contact them to ask for an update a couple of weeks ago and was just told that our application is waiting to be looked at by an officer.

That’s great news , we have had a request for photos a month ago but still nothing further , do you have to send your passports as the last step???

Normally they are asked for at the same time.. do check the letter that came..

The ‘Passport Request’ letter, therefore, includes a request for hard copy photos. Applicants are instructed to mail these photos to CIC.
