Attn Experts: To Opt out or Not?

Andrew, Jim & PMM,

For the benefit of those who were affected by the Class Action Suit or those who applied before Jan. 1, 2002, can you please explain what are the consequences if one decides to opt out? Also, pls advise what is best for the interest of these applicants. Thanks in advance.
