Hi,

Called the Regional programme center - they told me that they did not have my FBI
certificate. After I informed them that I had sent it already in April 2000. They told me
to fax them a copy if I have one of the report. I did. Do you think this would be
acceptable by the person making a decision ? I have completed my medical in May 2000 and
my interview was waived.

Under normal circumstances you must submit the original of police certificate. As you
claim sending one already in April and immigration authorities requested you to fax them a
copy of it then do so. Such copy may help them find the original or substitute for
original if processing officer decides that way.

Andrew, FYI - I call the Regional Programme Center after a week. The confirmed that now my
file is complete. The also informed me that my medicals have not been approved yet,
further more it would take a while as nothing has been done on my file. My medicals are
expiring in May. Do you think I would need a second medical ? Secondly - do you know how
long is the FBI - clearence good for. desi
