I applied for Canadian PR through skilled worker immigration class on
April 30, 2002.

I can see some of the May 2002 applicants having received their
assessments from Buffalo.

What happend to my case ? Is it normal ?

How long should I wait for my assessment letter ? Experts please
advise me.

The time depends on every single case and its complexity. So you may not compare with others. If you get CAIPS notes you may expect the date when your appl. status changes.
