Default applying for wife, parents, brother and a sister

Hi all
I am a canadian permanent resident and living in canada since sept 2003.
I am doing a good job here and having 55,000 cad annual salary. I want to apply for my wife, parents, a brother and my sister.
I need to know how much time it would take to get the immigration for my wife and parents. How can I apply.
I heard that if you have a brother or sister over 18 you cannot apply for them. Is it true. Is there any other way through which I can apply for my brother and sister. They both are studying in colleges.
Is there anything special that I need to do to apply for them.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

First of all - you don't qualify financially yet to sponsor such number of
people. In order to sponsor 5 people you need to prove that you already
earned about $44,000 within 12 months prior to sponsorship application. You
are far from that amount.

Second - you may start sponsoring your wife though as you don't need to meet
minimum income requirement to do so. Process may take anywhere from 6 to 18+
months, depending where your wife lives. The big question is - when did you
get married? If you got married after you landed in Canada then it is OK,
but if you got married before landing and you didn't add your wife to your
application then your status may be invalidated as obtained fraudulently. If
you got married before you landed and your wife was included in your
application as non-accompanying spouse and underwent medicals then you may
sponsor her.

Third - once you reach required income level you may start sponsorship of
your parents and siblings. But your siblings cannot be sponsored alone -
they can only be included as dependants of your parents and only if they are
under 22 (or full time students since before 22) and financially dependent
from parents. They must continue to be in school and dependent from parents
until process is completed. Process may take 2 to 4 years, depending again
from their nationality and countries of residence.

Go to www.cic.gc.ca and learn the rest.

Thanks a lot for your detailed response. I do have some more questions:
1) If I earn the minimum requirement level income which is 44000 dollars in 6-8 months then I would be eligible to apply for my family and siblings or not or I must have to wait for at least 12 months before applying for them.
2) My wife and siblings resides in Pakistan. How much time is gonna take?. I got married after my landing in canada. Secondly for how long the visa remains valid if she gets it.
3) My brothers and sisters are studying. One is 19 and the other one is 24. They dont have any break in the study period. Can I apply for both of them. What is the usual time it takes from Pakistan.
Thanks a lot for your help.

1) you may start sponsorship process as soon as you reach required amount
and as long as it is within 12 months or shorter period preceding
application

2) for wife about a year, for parents and siblings about 2 to 3 years

3) it should be still OK with the younger sibling, but can the older one
remain in full time education and be fully dependent financially from
parents for the duration of the process?
