Applying for SOWP after spouse has his TWP

Hi there

Quick one (I hope)

I will need to apply for my SOWP AFTER my husband has applied for and hopefully received his TWP, and also after we first land in Canada ( we will be return to UK for one month 6 weeks after arriving in Canada).

Thsi is because I'll be applying under my married name but my passport is in my maiden name and will need to remain so until after we have completed a holiday in October which was booked under my maiden name.

I know the general advice is to apply for SOWP at the same time as the TWP, but will it be a huge problem if I apply for my SOWP at POE on our return to Canada after month in UK? I will have all my husbands TWP documentation to show them, obviously.

Should be no problem providing you have a copy of OH TWP and certificate of marriage etc.

Thanks! I had assumed it wouldn't be a huge problem but I have a habit of overlooking very obvious obstacles!
