Default Applying for renewal of PR

Hey All
Could someone help me? I have paid to renew my PR card and I was told that I would receive the receipt of payment within 48hrs and would need the receipt of proof of payment before I can manually submit the application. I have done it online however you do need to still send the paperwork in. I emailed the office and asked where the receipt was and now have been told that I have to pay the Govt fees.
Not a problem however I had no clue that this needed to be paid and have no clue what link to click onto.

For reference this is the instructions I received so if someone could help this dimwit I would be most appreciative TIA

"We confirm that the application form was properly paid; however, you will need to complete the payment of the Government fee by clicking on the link below:"

There is only ONE fee payable - to the Govt or otherwise - $50 per PR card - so that is strange.. their email doesn't look correct either, saying "the application form was properly paid" ??

Did you check your MyCIC account to see if the receipt is there? You can look up the receipts and payments on there.. if you don't have an account it might be worth setting up

Are you sure you've applied for PRC renewal via the official website?

Please post the link you used to do the renewal.

There are many "service" websites for PRC renewal which do their best to look official but are charging you lots of money to provide a form populating "service". They are not licensed consultants either.

I knew someone who fell victim to this 2 years ago. Out of date forms were used by the company providing the "service".
