So my question now is, do I submit my NOC/PR application based on the NOC code on my work visa or what's my job title is? There are certainly overlaps between the two roles and my experience (prior to moving out) was as a systems analyst.
Which visa route? If you're applying based on your current job offer/TWP, then you must use that NOC code. If you're applying for PR independently and without a job offer, then you can use whichever NOC code matches your duties best.

Thanks for your response. Would be appllying based on my current job. I was just worried that my job title would cause issues given my noc code.

I am applying for the BC PNP entry and then PR.

I have been advised to apply for PR as soon as I get the nomination as it is valid for six months and it can take a few months for CIC to look at the application to start the process

But your ICT work permit is tied to a specific employer and NOC code. You could get into a sticky situation here by claiming NOC code work experience in Canada that you were not authorized to do by your work permit.

I would proceed on the basis of the NOC code on the ICE work permit.

We already have a PM unless Justin Trudeau has been sacked or resigned.

So.. I guess in Summary.

Apply for BC PNP (Tech route seems best as the intake is more frequent) - I believe we can apply for this now.
Apply for PR under Express Entry, Canada Experienced Class (I would have worked here for one year in Jan 2018)

Let me know if I have missed anything.

Thanks to everyone for your help.

Regards

If you're eligible for the BC PNP Tech Pilot, I'd go for that personally, can't see any advantage in waiting for January if you want PR asap. Particularly as the tech route is only a pilot program, so there's no way of knowing how long it will be around for.

What are you scoring on the BC PNP score? Is it enough to get an ITA?

Thanks for your reply. I believe the PNP route uses the SIRS calc? If so, I used an online CALC and got around 120 points. So I believe that will be acceptable.

New Vision Immigration

Hope that makes sense.

Looking at the BC PNP site - I believe they are approaching the end of the 6000 allocation. So we might have to apply in the new year (not sure if they will take applications now for next year?).
