Your nationality is irrelevant. The eligibility to apply, your qualifications and experience is what counts.

Hi,
You're right. They have shortlisted only 29 occupations as of 26 June 2010 till26th June 2011, and also allocated a maximum of 20,000 applicants.

So, IT and Accounting occupations are out of the game. However there is little chance under
1122 Professional Occupations in Business Services to Management
for some Business Analysts or related professionals.

Best regards

if you are under 31 then go for teh workling holiday visa - allows you to work and live in canada for 2 yrs. after 2 yrs of working you can apply via canadian experience class immigration program i.e. the stream for those with canadian work experience (dont think the 29 occupations apply to that stream, but you should check if this is an option for you).

correct. coming here on a working holiday visa expands your options big time. once you find an employer, you could either wait to see if your job will come on the list (i was lucky, mine was already there), or get your employer to apply for an AEO
