Default Applying for BCPNP, leaving/entering the country question.

Hi,

We came to Canada on a 12-month working holiday visa (swap/bunac) that isn't extendable (I don't think).

Our date for our return flight to the UK is Oct 14th, but our Visa is valid until Nov 25th. Now, we have just sent off our BCPNP application, are we allowed to say fly back to UK on the 14th October and return a week later with a one-way ticket? And would we have to go through immigration customs etc again?

We would arrive back in Canada on 22nd October with just over a month left on our current visa, would they let us back in? and on a one-way ticket?

Just worried about going back and having a problem getting back in whilst we have a BCPNP application in progress.

Any advice much appreciated.

Thanks in advance
Mike & Stacey

Everyone has to on every international flight, even the crew.

First hurdle - Boarding the aircraft, likelihood is you'd be OK as you have an entry permit.

Second hurdle - Immigration, as you only have month to run.

No way to tell if you would have a problem or not until you try it.

Thanks for responding.

Does anyone out there have experience doing this? Did they have any isues coming back in?

Maybe we might have to have a return flight booked for when our Visa expires in November to show we will be leaving when the Visa expires.

I hope the BCPNP application comes back before October so we know whats what.
