Default Applications in the post!

Well, we have finally submitted all of our documents for our FSW application. We are intending to land in Halifax NS. Does anyone have any idea how long it may take to receive our visas?

The waiting starts again!

Thanks all

Congrats.

Processing times under the new FSW program are anticipated to only be 6-12 months, so hopefully you should hear something soon. There are some people that applied in August last year that have already had their 120 day letters.

Keep us all posted!

6-12 months for the new FSW applications?

But we originally applied in September 2006! Surely this means we're still on the old system?

I hope it is 6-12 months though

Hi, I think your initial post has been misunderstood, I too read it that it was a brand new application, hence christmasoompa's info re 6-12 mths processing. Assume you have sent info back from 90 day update letter?

If the above is the case hopefully it shouldn't be too long before you get med request

Good luck

Sent ours last Monday too!

Extra good news though last night, OH has a formal job offer - the company telephoned last night, it has now drawn up contracts which they will courier to us this week. We get full relocation and a home-finding trip. Can it get any better? Mind you, it's taken since last July to get to this!!!
We just hope the PR app goes smoothly too!

Oops sorry all! Didn't mean to confuse... yeah we sent it just after we received our 90 days letter... just wish we had an idea of how long it would take... 6 -12 months... whatever, as long as we had [I]some[I] idea!

Thanks for the good luck messages we'll keep you posted on our progress.
