Default application sent need good vibes

Well, my canadian partner and I (both in the UK) have finally sent in our spousal application to Mississuaga. I have checked the tracking on parcelforce website and it has just landed in Canada.

For those of you who know my case, I got my letter of rehabilitation within a week of sending for it HURRAY!!! I did'nt think that would be coming for over a year! Thanks WHM

anyway, thanks all for the advice so far. I guess we just wait now tick,,,,,,,,tock,,,,,,,,,,,,tick,,,,,,,,,,,tock,,, ,,,,,,tick,,,,,,,,tock,,,,,,,,,,,,tick,,,,,,,,,,,t ock

Smile, just think if that is the only thing that goes wrong you are a lucky man. Mine was returned after 2 months with the comment, incorrect fee. When I called CIC to ask, they said "sorry we goofed, just send it again". They did however backdate their recieved date.

I feel for you though.

I haven't checked it Jameso but that looks like the address we used.

One thing springs to mind - Canada returns all packages that do not have a complete name and address of the sender on them, could it be that you didn't put your own address on it? (if so - how are they going to "return to sender" as the website says?).

How irritating At least on the plus side you'll be able to add your gf's acceptance letter from uni.

Thats true, I was thinking about that. I just have this feeling of dread that it is going to get lost now or get delayed in some depot for weeks on end. The parcelforce form does have my return address on though, I sepnt so long in the post office trying to make sure it was all correct

Thanks for your support though

Just a hint, for those from the UK, the return address has to be on the front of the envelope, top left, as during Xmas Canada Post was returning packages that didn't have there as "it didn't conform to new international postal regulations" silly, but that's what they were doing.
