For anyone who's interested, the reason why I was called in for interview with the Judge was because I was only 2 days over the residence requirement.
The Judge was extremely friendly and once she was satisfied that my rush in submitting my application was not because I had plans to immediately leave the country, she was happy. In fact i did the test verbally there and then and am now just waiting for the date of my oath ceremony.
Thanks to everyone for responding and you were right, there was nothing to worry about.

. I was about to commit the same mistake as you next month. This is a good point to note. Probably I will apply at least 10-15 days after my eligibility.
