WELL DONE! CONGRATS! That really was quick. I guess it pays to put all the docs in just in case. I bet you they are looking through my file again and wondering why certain docs are missing! aaarrgh! I hope I hear something soon!

Congratulations! Tanah. So, you received your PPR in 22 days after your medical tests were mailed to Ottawa. That's pretty fast.

tanah,
was your e-cas status updated to 'medicals received'? if so, was it before or after you got your ppr? Just wondering whether to look out for the update or not

Spectrum and Gleech any news?? I just went to check mail and the postman has left a note on the door to the building saying that he was unable to get into the building and will try again on the 10th of August!! what?! I have to wait until the 10th...it better be there on the 10th, it will be excatly 1 months since my file was transferred. Someone said they ar eprobably waiting for me to renew my passport and work permit. I am waiting for them. So I have renewed my passport and have decided to go and renew my work permit next week, even it only runs out September 7th.- dont want to be illegal!!

I am going to Peace Arch border to do it. HR advised me to it this way as I can get it on the same day. It's another $300 for me and hubby..
I am tired of all this to be honest I feel like renewing my work permit and then just forgeting about PPR etc and when it comes it comes..but I know I can't

Hey guys,

Hope everyone is doing well. Congrats to Tanah. I'm really happy for you.

I emailed Buffalo as Tanah suggested. It's been 3 weeks now and still no response. I think they intentionally ignored my email because I didn't use the case specific form.

I went and checked the last letter they sent me in Februrary of this year (the one that says that no documents are required at this point and that there's no need for an interview) and it said that if I haven't paid the RPRF, I should do so now. I haven't done that because it's not a requirement yet so my question to you guys is: should I? Would it make a difference if I pay now before they finalize my case?

Also, since my file has now been in Buffalo for about 8 months and hasn't been transferred to Seattle yet, is it possible that they will no transfer my file to Seattle ever? I'm asking because someone in a different forum mentioned that not all files are transferred to Seattle and that some are finalized in Buffalo but I never heard anyone say that before or since.

Any input would be greatly appreciated guys. I'm on the verge of losing it so talking to you helps.

Thank
