same here, still no ppr, new york is so slow....

Sorry for my late reply. I landed on 20th November.

A friend of mine works in canadian border, so i called him before i went to border. After arriving at the border, handed over my passport. Two officers were looking into it and third one joined in and they start giggling. I started to feel bit nervous. Then two officers called me into private room and start asking me random questions and finally they said my friend call them ahead of my arrival and told them to give me a little hard time. We all start laughing, they told me no worries everything is good and in order and told me sign on COPR paper. In the end they gave me a paper canadian flag, they apologized to me for not giving me a real flag.

I guess this is one of the best landing exprience.

got my ppr yesterday from new york office....

Can I just ask did you receive notification that your file was sent to new york or any email to say that you had been accepted?
I've heard nothing since we did our meds and I'm worried as my Son is applying to universities and we have to pay international fees as we have not got pr as yet, if this takes much longer we will have to put his university plans on hold as we just can't afford the international rates. I don't understand why it's taking so long.... did you have any explanation given to you?

yup, but that was before I received our medical forms...we took our medicals July last year and just received ppr the other day, so it took them 5months to send our ppr....

:curse: landed in November but yet to get a PR card. Had photo issue but its taking more than my actual BC PNP time
