Planning on moving out around April/May time.
Be aware that you need to send another 2 'Canadian spec' passport photo's, maybe worth getting these done up front?
You won't be long I'm sure.
Thanks for all the nice comments everyone...
STC - you heard anything yet??
Cheers,
Stuart.

Tell me about it, just a couple of weeks after medicals sent, wasn't expecting anything for 3 - 6 months. Again total randomness with processing times (not that I'm complaining ).

Re: AOR from London Jan & Feb 2010 - Progress updates
We couldn't have timed things worst, sold at the bottom of the market, invested a chunk in the stock market which is showing a small loss and the exchange rate has gone from $2 to $1.55!!
We still made good money on the purchase price though and had worked hard to pay off the majority of the mortgage (once the kids had left nursery we pumped that money into the mortgage, it made a massive difference on the term and if I remember rightly reduced from 19 years to 7).
So after all costs we should still have approx $520k.
Good luck with the house sale, Xmas time is never good, things will hopefully pick up over the next month or 2.

Thank-You All!!!! Still in a daze!
STC - I dropped them an e-mail late last night asking whether we'd hear by post (our post is a Nightmare, everything gets lost) or e-mail and then 'whoooosh' the reply was a PPR e-mail today with a PDF attached asking for more photos and passport details... I wonder if it's worth you dropping a note - as a reminder that you haven't heard..? I know it clogs the system up but it worked for me! Just a thought...

I just did this now..
Haven't been on the site for a while but good to see things are picking up!!
All the best to you!

I too have sent a query today. I think i was eligible. You have to have exceeded the average processing time which is 13 months for those applying between November 28, 2008 and June 25, 2010. It also said based on a complete application package. I have taken my date that i provided all paperwork which means i am at 16 months in (18 from first submission -feels like longer though).
