Now had AOR and Ecas 'Received by Visa Office ' for 9 weeks. Is this normal or panic time. My Work Permit expires in 2 months.

Well your definitely in good company, not sure if this is common or not to be honest but it doesn't appear that anything is moving very quickly at the moment.
I'd hope we see some movement in the next couple of weeks! Bear in mind though that as of yesterday London is also processing applications from Pakistan, I guess this can only slow things down more?

I am not going to even look at Ecas any more....no I'm not...well maybe a wee peek on a Wednesday morning. Why do I insist on looking when I know its not going to change

I think that our estimation of landing in August has been well and truly blown out of the water

We got out AOR in March, sorry for gatecrashing your thread, but using it as a yardstick on progress of those in from of us. Good luck to you all and here's to you all getting med requests

We are still waiting - I bet the next thing we hear from them is a request for medicals. I don't trust that Ecas will change off 'Recieved'.

At the time of receiving our med requests it seemed that 4-weeks or thereabouts was the average time to wait for PPR. We are now 30 days after the meds so i suppose it could be any time from now (all being well with med results) but as we all know from posts on BE; just when you think you've sussed CIC's work pattern 'BAM'

To answer your question simply; in an ideal world around 8-10weeks i guess. That's taking into account, booking and taking the meds, CHC receiving and reviewing them, dropping off and picking up passports/visas from CHC.
Hope this helps

Binty
