We have still not had a AOR did email london to check they have our app and had a a reply saying they have and that was it,having a bit of a nightmare at the mo as OH just got laid off ,he is thinking of flying out to calgary to look for a job,but don't think there is much chance he will get an lmo at the mo,just hope he find something soon

Our AOR is dated 11 Aug ´10 so we are hoping to hear something...ANYthing! in the next few weeks. I can´t believe it´s going to be at least summer by the time we will be going, the waiting is now officially doing my nut in. Sorry about the whinge everyone, and by the way..happy new year to you all, may we all be happily settled in CA by the end of 2011! 
Our (wife and I) application is one day apart from you on AOR.. our files (having spent Christmas and New years stacked together at London CIC) must be on first name terms by now!

I sure am looking forward to reading that someone on this timeline receives their request for medicals......
my poor hubby is getting quite depressed by the whole immigration performance...
the only thing that seems to keep us going is knowing its not just our file that is held up by things that are beyond our control.
my fingers are so crossed they hurt!

if it is to waiting only i would not bother it, but my police certificates have expired , and i hate the idea collecting them (3 ) again .

I have this mental image of a tower of application files gathering dust in some cubbiehole in the London office! I have also started to have "forbidden" thoughts...like, maybe we should just give up, move to Timbuktu or Swaziland and be happy ever after.
I am really, really REALLY not good at waiting, I am actually impatience on legs so this waiting for the Med Request is quickly turning into my nemesis!
Anyway, I reckon we should inform each other if there´s any development at all. Good luck, let´s hope it´s not going to take tooooo much longer.
