Is there any 2001 one left out there?
and i am feeling lonely here... i was hoping i could have sung " i will in canada for christmas" but instead i am mumbling "i'll have a blue christmas"
if anyone is out there with any news to share to keep this going please share... hope that proposed rule is in effect soon...
wondering if they are still sending request for passports out or waiting for that rule

I also applied in December 2001 in CHC in London and received AOR and file number in March 2002. After that no any progress and CIC web site showing In Process since December 2001. I tried to contact Canadian High Commission in UK by sending fax to know the status of my application but no any reply. For your info I am a Bangladeshi citizen and a permanent resident of Singapore.
I am also eagerly wating for a call (or a letter) from immigration.

i too applyed in sept 2001 from cic newdelhi, completed my medical in 5 th april 2003, interview waived, waiting for final result from past 8 months, no response from cic people? what about your timelines,

Now I've just received a letter from the embassy where they ask me for an additional set of docs

New medicals 25 september 2003
Visa 30 november 2003
