Default Another Medical question (Humpheries, Metcalfe, Miller etc. etc.)

Applied to Bufalo Nov. 2001
Interview waived Dec 2002, Medicals in 6months

I did my medicals in june and my DMP informed me I was HIV+. I thought it was a cruel joke. I got myself together and went to another doctor for further tests and discovered that the initial test was a "false positive".

I took the 2nd result to the DMP and he admitted my initial result was border line 1.25(<1.00 considered negative). He sent all these- 1st positive result and second negative result along with X-rays and other tests to Ottawa in July.

My question is, what is the implication of this situation to my passing the medical exams and getting a passport request.

The medical report was sent out by the DMP around the end of July and I have not heard anything since then.. How long before I hear from them. Could I be asked to do another medicals?

I am concerned that someones error might cause me to be assessed medically inadmissible. What do you guys think? What should I do?

I have a Canadian visa and I dont mind going to Ottawa to sort this out.

Thanx,
Solid

It is quite likely that CIC will request another medical, if the DMP sent
the second results on.

There is no point in going to Ottawa to sort the matter out. No one will
talk to you.

Await further advice from the DMP.
