Default Andrew, citizenship application - good to submit evidence of residence now?

Hi, Andrew and other guys,

Just calculated online that I am eligible to apply for a canadian citizenship, in the application form, CIC does not ask you to submit evidence of your residence, do you guys think it might be good idea to submit it anyway, or just wait till CIC asks to do so?

I can basically submit payslips/rent payments/employment appointments/utility bills/credit card statement, which can be pretty thick.

maybe it is a good idea to submit some of them? for instance, 1) payslips in each end of years where working work hours can be seen, 2) rent contracts and statement of payments for each month, 3) employment contract indicating salary, job title, salary??????

Thanks

You don't submit anything that they don't ask for in the application. If CIC doesn't believe you have the required 3 years, then they will request you complete a questionaire with supporting documents.

Thanks, that is what I am thinking, but do you think it will hurt one's application, if you do include some of evidence, such as what I said in my post, in the application?

Maybe a cover letter explaining that I have a permanent professorship at a top Canadian university since I came to Canada will help, at least not hurt?

As PMM already stated - don't overdo it. Submit anly what is required.
