Hi Andrew,
I applied as a skilled worker to London in April 04. My AOR is June 30th 04. I know from this board that my peers have now recieved their medical requests, so I was wondering why mine might be taking longer.
Before sending out meds does the embassy:
1. assess points from documentation provided (in which case everyone's assessment should take roughly the same time).
2. assess points from documentation provided AND verify that that documentation is accurate by conducting the background check (in which case different cases would take very different amounts of time depending on which country they're from, how many countries they've lived in before etc).
If its 2, then I'd understand why mine seems to be taking longer since I've lived both in the UK, The Netherlands and now Canada....if its 1 though, then I'd be a bit worried. wondered if you could clarify. thanks.

CHC London sends request for medicals only when they assume that security check is near completion and all other tasks are completed.
