Already Living in Canada - How Do CIC London Return Passports
Hi there,
We have been living in Canada since 2005. Our skilled worker PR application is in process. We have just received our request for passports, photos etc. We're going to Purolator everything to London.
What method do London use to return the passports to us in Canada? Do they use a courier, signed-for post, or just regular old post?
Many thanks,
Sarah

Hi Sarah
If I remember correctly, I think they sent them back by regular post, not signed for, although they didn't seem to take too long to arrive, much quicker than a normal letter takes. Hope that helps.

Ours came back by registered post. It's probably about as safe as you can expect these things to be, so I wouldn't worry about it. We went to all the effort of creating a Fedex account and sending them a waybill, but they just returned it (with our passports and visas) stating that we hadn't completed it correctly. Of course, there is no information, anywhere, on how we should have prepared it.
