Question all experts (Miller/Jim) questions on file transfer

Hi,

I got my AOR (file no.)from buffalo for Canada (2002 Jan 22)
After one year later I received letter saying
“ We are pleased to advice you that we have now completed the initial analysis of your applications. We have determined that a personal interview with a visa office is required and will take place Los Angeles.

But I waited almost one year they never send me interview date instead of that they send me letter saying
“Update recent jobs, status, education for mandatory background check
I send all those information 2003 August.

Recently I enquired my status; they answered me back with this
“ We would like to thank you for your correspondence of 8 march 2004 in which you brought your concerns to our attention. We are pending background results from government offices

But today I got letter from buffalo on that letter “we pleased to inform you that your file has been transferred to Los angels.

All experts I some questions for you.

1.On last letter did not say whether my initial assessment done or not? Do you think that they already assessed my file?

2. Do you think my background check is done or they will again after interview?

3. What you think getting caips file, is this suitable time to get that file or wait?

4. How long it will take for interview, medical other process could you tell me what next things will happen? How long I have to wait to get passport request since I am waiting for almost three years?

Thanks

Yes, the assessed your file and found an interview would be needed.
Background checks are either done or expected to be completed soon. The
CAIPS file may indicate their concerns and why an interview is required. IT
could be as simple as language skills. You are about 6 to 8 momths from the
actual interview if past performance is any guide. If it is positive you
will get the medical instructions and from there you could hope for final
completion within 3 to 6 months.
Hope that helps,
