Dear All,

I would like to know if I can apply for Immigration under Family class. I am a bachelor
aged 25yrs & my sister is a resident of Canada.

Any info is highly appreciated.

Thanks & Regards, MV

In a Word "NO". Unless you are an orphan under the age of 19 your sister cannot sponsor
you as a member of the family class. If you apply for PR in Canada based on your
education and occupation, etc.., you will be classified as an Assited relative and
receive 5 bonus points.

You cannot apply as your sister's dependent. You do not seem to fit the family class. Jim
