Hi all,
For an update of my inland spousal application.
I checked my e-client and here's what it says:
We received your application for permanent residence on June 10, 2002.
We started processing your application on June 18, 2002.
Medical results have been received.
We sent you a letter on December 19, 2002 about approval in principle for
you to become a Permanent Resident of Canada. If we have sent the letter to
the wrong address, please contact us. Thank you.
We sent you a letter on December 19, 2002 about the decision on your
application. If we have sent the letter to the wrong address, please contact
us. Thank you.
Everybody's right, it seems they'll gonna finish all old law applicants
before the year ends.
I'll be preparing my application for work authorization. Do they need a
photocopy of that AIP?

From what Ive read on another immigration board i belong to, the first
letter will be your AIP. The 2nd letter will be your PR landing
interview notice!!!!
If this is the case, you MAY just be landed before your work
authorization will even be opened by CIC. I would suggust you wait
until you receive the 2 letters before you send in you work
authorization. you may not need it. CONGRATS!!!!

What I mean is as long all old law applicants may have any assessment like
AIP before the year ends. They want to clear out all the old law
applicants. You may notice that AIP's, PR's and DECISION MADE from E-client
were now coming out very fast.
Final Landing Papers could be issued in 1st month or quarter next year.

Hi SuzieQ,
thanks for your update....that will be more great news for both of us.
Instead of preparing my work authorization, i'll prepare for my SIN,
driver's license and scout more jobs......after 3 months would be my OHIP.
