Default AINP - Do I need LMO?

Hi guys,

This is the first time I have posted on this forum, although I found reading posts a great source of information since moving to Canada.

So my situation is this, I came out to Calgary from uk in November 2011 on IEC visa, renewed it in November 2012. So currently I have until November 2013 when I can no longer apply for another year.

I have been working in full time permanent employment oct 2011 to aug 2012, then got proper "career" job in oil and gas in aug 2012, also full time permanent.

My current plan is to apply through AINP under skilled worker, my question is do I need an LMO? as I am currently working in full time permanent employment and will apply to AINP while I still have my valid open work permit through IEC?

Any help would be greatly appreciated,

Cheers
