Default After final decision? Need Info Please

Hello all,
Talking to CIC today, they told me to expect a final decision any day
now. I was than told to expect a three month wait from final decision
till final interview when I assume they stamp my wife's passport, than
expect another six week wait for PR card.

Is this an accurate timeline? I have read other's posts with a six
week wait.

During this time from final decision to getting her passport stamped
and PR card, what is her status? Would she be able to travel out of
the country?
Would she be granted a visa to return to Canada with the letter of
final decision?
Thanks,

She doesn't have PR status until she formally lands. "Letter of final
decision" is just a piece of paper and I don't recommend leaving Canada
before landing is completed. You are so close to the end - why risk
everything?
