advise on Passport

Please can someone advise me:

I am a British national but am on Indian Passport. will it take longer than normal to process my application for TWP if i apply with a Indian passport. it may take about 6-8 weeks for me to get a British passport. In this time i may as well get the TWP processed.

i would be grateful for any advise.

Thanks

I'm not an expert but given reading things like this - Indian visitors face 'intrusive' questionnaire -, I would be applying for and using a British passport for anything related to Canada in preference to an Indian one.

Like I said, I'm no expert - no idea if there's a time difference on actual TWP processing, but I think it would be worth any small delay in getting the British one applied for. You will also be eligible for visa-waiver travel to the US if you use your British passport, might be useful to you to have confirmation of your TWP status in Canada stapled into that one rather than into an Indian one.

If you are a recently naturalised British citizen then your Indian citizenship has been revoked. Hence your Indian passport would be invalid and it would be a crime under Indian law to continue using it.

ahem,

why don't we assume that the OP has dual citizenship since birth, but is currently out of a current British passport

before we assume that the OP intends to use an invalid passport?
