FWIW Stats Canada has a lot of info on average houshold incomes, property prices by region / community etc etc on their website. The info can be a few years old ( so property prices have moved up a bit), but it offers an interesting comparison if you are into that type of thing.

Hi Iain,

Thank you for the websites. I am getting ready for my wedding next Saturday. It is a very big decision to move to Canada and the more information I gather the better it is. I woudnt like to make the wrong decision. I didnt know that the employment in Canada is so competitive. At least now I know what to expect and that it wont be as easy as I thought. I still havent applied for the visa. After my marriage I will do so, and I suspect it will take at least 1 year, in the meantime gathering information and doing good research is what I can do. Thank you Iain.
