Default address for citizenship application, moving in jan

I live in Vancouver and am moving back to the us in Jan, to the east coast. I easily meet the residence requirements for citizenship and hope to come back to Canada after this step in my career (yes should have applied for citizenship a few years ago when I was first eligible but didn't. So doing it now). I'm friends with my up stairs neighbors so could list my current address in my application and up stairs neighbors could forward any communication to me. I realize that means I'd have to fly to Vancouver for the test and ceremony. I also have friends in Ottawa that I'm sure would also be willing to receive mail for me, that is a 6hr drive from where I'll be moving rather than a cross continent flight. But I've never lived in Ottawa so don't know if that address would look really strange on my application?

What address should I use?
