Default Address Change

Hi,

How long does it normally take (from y'alls experience) for the
e-client to update the address change. I FAXed RPC-Buffalo last week
(March 23rd) about our new address; e-client still shows old address
as of March 31st.

Thanks in advance!

Hello there,

There is an option button there to change your address. Once you log into client with your #, you should see that button there, with a link like this:

Update this mailing address.

No, you should not change your address online unless your application is being processed in Canada. It says so clearly. Don't ask me why. They like paperwork.

To be frank, it might never change in E-client. So long as the visa office
has the correct address you are OK, but I would be sure to monitor the old
address or extend forwarding of mail if possible.

I was interested to see if I could change my address online.
I couldn't see this link- I've logged on about 3 times to make sure. Is it truly there for PR applications, or am I missing something?

Thanks.

beware: someone recently posted that s/he updated his address with CIC
and e-client eventually showed his new address... BUT they still sent
him/her postal mail at old address !!!

so either continue to check old mail address --if not-- make sure to
request mail forwarding.
