Default Additional Medicals - implications - Jim Humphries please!

If during the additional medical tests, TB is being suspected, DMP refers to a specialist and the specialist confirms inactive tb which was self healed with no symptoms of disease in the past or now, also sputum test was negative and puts me on 6 month treatment staring now, how will it impact the processing?

The DMP will be sending the chest specialist report along with Mantoux and CT scan report to CIC medical panel.

The 6 month tb treatment will get over in end Jan 2005. The first medicals was in the end of March 2004. CIC has asked for additional x-ray at the end of sep 2004.

Can you please give us some idea about the possible course of action by CIC and a rough time frame?

Thanks in advance,

Deepa

Your medical report should be finished with the repeat Xray in September. The assessment time will depend on the results. There is nothing to be done for now. You are doing the right things of course.

Thank you so much. Would the background / security check be progressing for us now or would it start only after the medical decision?

Background checks should be going on in parallel with other checks and the medical examination.

Dear Mr. Jim Humphries,

The DMP submitted the end of treatment report and sputum test reports to CHC Delhi in the end of Jan 2005. We recieved passport request from CHC Delhi two days back and have sent the passports.

Does this mean that our medicals have been cleared and visa will be issued? The medicals will expire in the end of March 2005.

We have very short time to prepare and would appreciate your reply.

Thank you,

Teja

Which date of medical test is considered for the expiry of visa; the day on which the DMP examined and ordered the tests or the day on which DMP prepared the report?

We have very short time to prepare and would appreciate your reply.

Thank you,
