Default Adding Spouse to an already existing visa application.

Its been a while I visited this site; but now its not for me, but for my brother who has applied for Canadian Immigration in 2005.
Now, he got married in 2006 and wants to add his spouse to his application. I know that a simplified method is in place for applying for immigration now.
My Question is: What documents does he need to send for his wife?
I know this question has been asked alot of times, but I just want to confirm.

Can someone please help? Thanks!
PS: He applied his immigration from New Delhi, India.

Your brother's application is not of the simplified type as it was submitted prior to last September. He must advise the visa office of his marriage and show the marriage registration. He will also have to pay an additional fee and submit new forms for her. The visa office will advise what they need to have from him.
