Default About to start BC PNP - Skills Immigration - Healthcare Professionals process

So, we've made some progress with the professional certificates and my partner has signed her employment agreement (now waiting for a Confirmation of Need letter, I think).
In a week or two, we should start the PNP process and, upon successful nomination, we intend to apply for a TWP at the port of entry.
As we want to expedite things as we possibly can, we want to be ready with all the documentation we'll be required to submit.
However, we don't really know what we're going to need, and we've read some conflicting information, mostly in regards to medical tests and police certificates.
Are we going to be asked to undergo medical exams before the move? And if so, can we do them right away, so that we'll have them in hand? Do they have a time limit on them?
Same goes for the police certificates. Are we going to need those, and if we are, can we obtain those a couple of months in advance?
Any other tips will be much appreciated.
