Default About Language Proficiency

I am going to take IELST but happened to catch a bad cold. So I cannot send
my IELST results well before the interview. My question is that if I take
the test results together with my certified claim of MA from my grad school
to the interview, does it work the same way as one sends the test and the
degree when one files his application? If not, what is the difference? Will
they process my application before the interview happens? I already sent
them my TOEFL score, GRE score. Do they have a little bit effect on their
select decision? Should I send some documents about my languge skills(
paper, abstract of thesis..) to them before my interview?

Any suggestion is highly appreciated!!
