Default 6 month employment for Ainp?

Hi can someone remind me ..i cant seem to find accurate information for this?

Can an application for Ainp be started immediately on arrival to Canada (with a wp) if the employer is willing to hire you full time and permanently?

I read somewhere about having to be employed for 6 months before being able to send application...can someone please confirm?

This information is to relay to my parents.......I have already been through the process.

thank you very much.

Depends on the job I think, some you can apply straight away and some strategic occupations (i.e. truck driver) you must have been working for 6 months or more.

What is the job and which stream would they be applying under?

Hi thanks for prompt reply......its for a farm supervisor noc 8253-noc B.

There is no probationary period for the job and the employer is willing to assist with Ainp paperwork as soon as he is allowed.

Its the employer driven stream.

OK, in which case my understanding (but please do check this on the AINP website!) is that there is no minimum period that needs to have been worked. I believe that the 6 months only applies to those who are 'semi-skilled' i.e. truckers, food servers, etc, and not to those who are 'skilled'.

Thanks very much ...this is also what I beleived but I had my doubts and could not find confirmation during my search on the Ainp website.

We will send off application perhaps after a couple of months so as to get a work related reference letter for the job and payslip evidence.

Thank you
