It was a day of coincidences for me today. Driving, after collecting COPR from mail delivery office someone cut in front of me. I was cursing under my breathe but burst out laughing when I saw their Canadian bumper sticker :-D

Them, in a supermarket there were a half-dozen service men who looked like RAF types until I saw their lapel badges... yup Canadian servicemen stationed in Scotland :-D

I squeeked but felt too bashful to say anything :-)

I go out for 10 minutes - you guessed it! The freaking post office wouldn't leave the freaking package without a freaking signature even though I had freaking-well purposefully said "no signature required", you know, just in case I go out - argh, freaking argh!!!

So, I have to wait until 08.30, Monday morning when I can go and collect it. I'm assuming "decision made" is good news??? I should say that Detroit only received our paperwork 13 November, so to get it back by 24 November, with Thanksgiving in between is pretty speedy work.

Now all I have to do is find enough valium to last through till Monday

Congrats to everyone for there updates!

A year to the day for us since our app was received and still no updates... anyone else on this thread left that hasn't had any movement? I guess our app just got in the wrong pile.

Really hoping they don't restart fsw in January till they have sorted out all the current applications, or we will still be here in a year waiting for an update.

Aw Dave n Ailsa, it's so disheartening isn't it? I just hope we don't get pushed even further behind once the new program opens. I am feeling so down about it all at the moment, I think I need to step away from BE for a while as it's too depressing! We were convinced we would get med requests before Xmas but I think that's highly unlikely and I reckon we've gone to the bottom of the pile after all our problems with the Schedule A application form!

Well, the news was good, phew! Hope to land early Feb next year.

I should point out that I'm actually posting on the wrong thread but I didn't see one for 2009 FSW Timeline - our process has taken almost 4 years!!
